This week we have been looking at the famous artist Jackson Pollock and discussing his abstract art.
We have explored his use of colour, pattern and shape and why he chooses certain colours to create moods within his work.
We have then taken inspiration from Pollock's 'drip painting' technique to create our own pieces with a Hull twist! These will be displayed in our pop-up art gallery at Princes Quay on the 24th of March!
To see our final pieces of art you will be invited to visit the pop-up gallery on the Friday; however, here are some photos of us practising the drip painting technique before we started on our final pieces.
We have all been thrilled with our work and truly feel like artists.
